François Rosenfeld

François is an experienced investor and has dedicated his career to supporting innovative and industrial companies, particularly in the healthcare sector. He joined Mérieux Equity Partners in April 2025.

Before joining MxEP, he was an investor at Cathay Capital Private Equity for nearly 5 years, especially in charge of healthcare. He has also worked within industrial companies. François has also gained extensive expertise in supporting innovation and business development through his roles as Financial and Strategic Director of the Commissariat général à l’investissement (now the Secrétariat général pour l’investissement) and at the Ministry of Industry.

With a Master's degree in molecular biology, a former student of the École Normale Supérieure de Paris, and an engineer of the Corps des Mines, François Rosenfeld combines strong scientific skills with a deep understanding of industrial and financial matters.
